The module is inspired and built on the great module from Mark Stiller - Data Importer. This module is taken even further by providing features to support synchronization by external sources.

Choose between default import sources like XML, CSV, SQL Server and Sitecore DB.

Define the mapping of fields to Sitecore items and choose how you want to structure the imported data in date or alfabetic folders, or by a spesified parent in parent folder structure.

Choose if you want to keep the data synchronized in Sitecore, by updating existing items on a key. You have the option to disable items that are not present in the import data anymore and move these items to a "Disabled items" folder of your choice. Keep item names updated and unique to ensure unique URLs.

Start the synchronization processes through a wizard in Sitecore. Here you also have the option to select a file to upload and import directly in Sitecore. You can also set up these syncjobs to run from a task, with the provided Task Command.

The import will not abort if one import row fails, but continue to the end. The errors is accumulated and summed up in the end. An option to get the status reports on mail is also available.

You can also download the source code from GitHub and customize it yourself.
