Module to allow environment specific styling (and text) on login screen and header ribbon for Sitecore 8+

This provides content editors a visual reference about the environment they are working on and is especially useful for developers/testers who often work across multiple environments. This will (hopefully) save you from accidentally editing content on the wrong environment.

    This module injects in custom CSS files to allow you to style your environments. There is a single config value that need to be updated per environment.

    Several examples styles have been provided. If the styles do meet your requirements then update the CSS files to meet your needs.

    Configuration examples available in the blog post and Github repo.
    Update the sc.Environment setting in SC.EnvironmentStyler.config on each different environment, either using an config patch or your deployment process.

    Default values are:
    • LOCAL
    • DEV
    • TEST
    • UAT
    • PREPROD
    • PROD
    • ANIMATED
    • RAINBOW
    You can use whatever value you want, just ensure a matching CSS file is located in /sitecore modules/EnvironmentStyler/ folder in the format environment-override-$(sc.Environment).css. You can also edit the existing CSS files to change the styles to suit your own requirements.
